Vigo Militaria and Collectables are pleased to offer this battlefield found original WW2 German Panzerfaust 60 fired tube from the battle of Market Garden.
We understand that it was recovered in Holland along the Hell’s Highway route, it has been cleaned and the tube is in solid condition. See pictures.
"Hell's Highway" was the nickname given to a stretch of road between Joe's Bridge over the Meuse-Scheldt canal to Arnhem.
It was a very exposed two-lane road that became famous for its heavy fighting and heroism.
Germany developed the Panzerfaust during World War II to counter improving Soviet tank technology. The weapon proved lethal to Allied armor, particularly in urban combat.
